Franke Sissons, Carrwood Rd, Chesterfield has announced another round of donations to charity. The Company which employs over 80 people and has been manufacturing in Chesterfield for over 230 years is an avid supporter of local charities and projects and charitable causes that support and encourage young people. This time funding has been provided to Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice in North Anston and Pilgrim Bandits Charity, a charity that challenges injured soldiers and veterans and then inspires young people.
Andy Dukelow, Managing Director of Franke Sissons explains, “We asked the staff here in Chesterfield for nominations and it was Dean Newton (pictured right) that recommended Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, after a very close family bereavement. We are all delighted to support them in this small way, the work they do is awe inspiring. The Pilgrim Bandits injured men and women have visited us and Meadows School in the work they do to show young people that anything is possible no matter what challenges they face. I’m a veteran myself so it’s great to see these lads forging meaningful and motivating lives post injury.”
